I want the kind of brown velvet curtains from IKEA, but I want a texture patterned curtain behind her. Can you layer curtains and how? Then I put in the same curtain rod or too busy? If someone photographs, please.

You can double curtain rods are both in the same holder. Usually, you look a little more off, it would be of velvet, and then as a cigar bar lower can do /. Here's an example at Walmart:
